I’m sorry I have not been posting daily logs or recipes much lately. My life recently got quite sticky with job issues and whatnot, so I have not had my usual energy for food, or blogging, or anything for that matter.
I have, however, eaten a large quantity of chocolate cake in the past week. And every slice was perfectly delicious and unregrettable. My personal opinion on the realm of healthy eating is this: eat as healthy as you can when you can; and when you just can’t manage it (such as, when your work-life comes crashing down on your head) eat what you want with the resolution not to regret it. With that in mind, I have limited myself to the chocolate cake (and not to my usual stress foods, like frozen pizza, whoopie pies, and macaroni and cheese). All other meals are as healthful as I normally would make them. I think that’s a good strategy.
